doorman choose who enter.
bartenders drink for free
music keep on playing
no fights, no lying
manager keeps an eye
bouncer keeps the peace
valet rides your ride
stools, top, tables chairs
mop the floor
it gets dirty
the walls keep the world at bay
the people make the sound
spirit relief
lovers carved in wood
behind the post along a rail
and right before the final eye flutter
belonging.
outside beneath the feeling of
everything ahead, and the weight
of knowing what you have to do,
there were once monsters,
and wonder at the universe;
all the newness surrounding
what you dont know, but want to.
A flash of total awareness, of eternity
and staying there forever a little bit,
you are the walking breadcrumb leaver,
leftover fragments,
seen momentarily.
